UPSC has announced 474 vacancies for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 under the following categories:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) from a recognized university.
- Final-year engineering students may also apply, subject to meeting eligibility before selection.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years (as of 01 January 2025)
- Age relaxation is applicable as per UPSC rules.

- General/OBC/EWS: ₹200/-
- SC/ST/PwBD/Female Candidates: Exempted

Selected candidates will be appointed as Class I Officers in various departments with a salary as per 7th Pay Commission (approx. ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month) along with allowances.
